Deux Frères began with a shared vision between two brothers to craft exceptional wines that reflect the unique character of our land. Our journey started in 2008 when we began cultivating the land our family had acquired years earlier. Since then, we’ve remained committed to producing wines that honour our terroir, family legacy, and dedication to excellence.

A New Name, the Same Commitment to Excellence
As we look ahead, we’re excited to announce a new chapter for our wine label. In 2025, due to international trademark regulations, we are renaming our label to Klein Graniet, a name that honours the distinctive geology and landscape of our estate.
While the name has changed, our commitment to exceptional wines remains unchanged. The farm, villas, and our vision will continue to carry the name Deux Frères, which holds deep meaning for us as brothers, winemakers, and stewards of our family legacy.

A great wine strikes the perfect balance between fruit, acidity, and tannin, all seamlessly integrated with its alcohol structure. This delicate tension creates depth and complexity while ensuring the wine never overwhelms the palate.
An exceptional wine, worthy of ageing, evolves with grace. Over time, bright summer fruit matures into smoky, earthy notes – leather, spice, and dried herbs. But without the right structure of acidity and tannin, this journey can unravel.
Like Van Gogh’s Sunflowers, once bold and vivid, now softened and textured with age, our wines are living snapshots – constantly shifting, always revealing something new.
