WINEMAKER’S COMMENTS

Glossy depths with a perfumed nose of ripe winter berries, violets and hedgerow fruits. This is smooth and seductive wine, with discreet oak spice and rustic dry dusty tannins. There is a roundness and generosity here, plums, mulberry and blackcurrants, which shows clean fruit intensity with a graceful freshness, a happy balance of succulent blue fruit core and pliant, velvety mouthfeel. Still young, this wine is delicious now and will improve for a few more years and be good for many more after that.
